Update on short stories published October 2019

I thought it was time for an update on my short stories published or soon to be published.

I’m pleased to say that my very short story, Chimera, has been published in the September edition of 101 fiction, a website for 100 word stories plus a title (hence the title of the website). The theme for this edition is Books. Find it on http://www.101fiction.com.

It’s been confirmed that the anthology Harvey Duckman Presents Volume 3 will be published 0n 31 October 2019 by Sixth Element Publishing on Amazon. mybook.to/HDP3Halloween! My short story, “Tully and the Ghost” is appearing in the anthology. https://6e.net/harvey-duckman-presents/

This isn’t a story but I’ve also had an article about the differences between historical fantasy and alternate history fantasy on Mark Hayes’ blog https://markhayesblog.com

I haven’t had any further updates on when the anthology Emerging Horizons will be published. My short story, “The Mysterious Mr. Fox” will appear in that one. Nor do I know yet when my short story, “Moonsleep” will be featured as the British Fantasy Society’s Monthly Story Project. Hopefully, it’ll be soon. I’ll let you know as soon as I do. https://britishfantasysociety.org

Short story accepted for anthology

I received an email today saying that my short fantasy story, “Tully and the Ghost” has been accepted for the anthology, Harvey Duckman Presents. It was going to be Volume 4 but then got a further email saying going to be in Volume 3, which should be out in October 2019.

Update on Emerging Horizons and the BFS Monthly Story Project

I wanted to give an update on the BFS (British Fantasy Society) Emerging Horizons anthology that is due to be published this year. The editor has notified me that he’s in discussions with the chair of the BFS about the plans regarding this project, which sounds a little ominous to me but I’m staying positive until I hear otherwise.

Also, some good news, my short story, Moonsleep has been accepted for the British Fantasy Society (BFS) Monthly Story Project. This project is a short story that is sent out to all members of the British Fantasy Society every month. (An additional reason to join the BFS). I’m not sure yet when it will be going out but I’ll post the date when I know it.

Welcome to my new website

Hi and welcome to my new website. I’ve set this up as I’m now writing solely under my real name of Liz Tuckwell. I was previously using the name of Anne Wrightwell but for various reasons have stopped using that name and have discontinued that website. This new website is under construction so I hope you’ll be patient with me and it should be up and running soon.
